如何用英語自然點餐

餐廳英語充滿了短小靈活的句子。學習一些模式，你就可以點任何菜單，即使你不知道每個食材的名稱。

領取座位

在入口處說：

• “A table for two, please.”
• “We have a reservation under Patel.”
• “Do you have anything available outside?”
• “How long is the wait?”
• “Could we sit somewhere a little quieter?”

如果主人說 “It’ll be about twenty minutes,”，他們是在給出估計，而不是保證。

##詢問菜單

• “What do you recommend?”
• “What is today’s special?”
• “What does this come with?”
• “Is this dish spicy?”
• “How is the fish cooked?”
• “Is this enough to share?”

“What does it come with?”詢問配菜、醬料或陪餐品。 “What’s in it?”詢問食材。

自然點餐

以下所有選項聽起來很自然：

• “I’ll have the grilled chicken, please.”
• “Could I get the vegetable curry?”
• “I’d like the soup to start, then the salmon.”
• “We’ll share the salad.”

在北美餐廳， “Can I get…?” 很常見。在其他地方， “Could I have…?” 可能聽起來更有風格。兩者都不需要額外的 “please give me.”

服務員： Are you ready to order, or do you need another minute?

客人： We need another minute, please. Is the green curry very spicy?

服務員： It has a bit of heat, but we can make it mild.

客人： Great. I’ll have that, mild, with steamed rice.

服務員： And for you?

客人2： Could I get the grilled fish? What does it come with?

服務員： Roast potatoes and a side salad.

客人2： Perfect. Could I have the dressing on the side?

變更和飲食需求

• “Could I have that without onions?”
• “Could you put the sauce on the side?”
• “Is it possible to swap the chips for a salad?”
• “I don’t eat pork. Which dishes would be suitable?”
• “I have a severe peanut allergy. Is this prepared near peanuts or peanut oil?”

對於食物過敏，不要依賴模糊的短語 “I can’t eat…”。說 “I have an allergy” 並說明是否嚴重。要求餐廳檢查。如果溝通不確定，選擇更安全的選項。

當出現問題

給服務員機會來解決：

• “Sorry, I ordered the vegetarian pasta.”
• “This steak is more well-done than I requested.”
• “I think this may be someone else’s order.”
• “We’re still waiting for one dish.”
• “Could you warm this up, please?”

保持中立的語氣。 “I think…” 和 “It looks like…” 在你想要指出錯誤而不聽起來像指責時很有用。

請求帳單

在英國英語中，請求 the bill。在美國英語中， the check 很常見。

• “Could we have the bill, please?”
• “Can we pay separately?”
• “Could you split the bill between these two cards?”

• “Could I get a receipt?”
