計程車英語：清晰說明目的地、路線和付款

計程車對話可以分成三個部分：上車、目的地和付款。完整的街道地址很有幫助，但司機往往也需要一個地標或入口。

找到司機

在繁忙的車站或機場，確認車輛前請不要上車。

• “Hi, are you here for Mina?”
• “What is the registration number of your car?”
• “I’m by Exit 4, next to the coffee shop.”
• “I’m wearing a blue jacket and carrying a red suitcase.”
• “I can see your car. I’ll walk over now.”

盡可能使用官方應用程式或計程車排隊。不要分享超過識別乘車所需的個人資訊。

說明目的地

• “Could you take me to this address, please?”
• “I’m going to the Grand Hotel on King Street.”
• “The entrance is on the side road, opposite the station.”
• “Could you drop me at Terminal 2, departures?”
• “Please take me to the main entrance.”

在手機上顯示地址可以防止很多發音問題。請在斷網的情況下保持地址可供離線存取。

討論路線

您不需要指導每一個轉彎。如果時間或成本很重要，請提出明確的問題。

• “About how long will it take?”
• “Is there much traffic at this time?”
• “Could we take the quickest route, please?”
• “Are there any tolls on this route?”
• “I need to arrive by 6:30. Do you think we’ll make it?”

如果您認為車輛正在走錯的路，請先提出一個問題：“Sorry, are we heading towards the city centre?” GPS路線可能因為交通或道路封閉而看起來很奇怪。

停靠站和行李

• “Could we make a quick stop at an ATM?”

請問等待時間或額外停靠站是否會改變車費。

實際計程車對話

司機： Where to? 乘客： The Parkside Hotel, please. It’s on Wellington Road. 司機： Do you want the motorway? It’s faster, but there’s a toll. 乘客： How much is the toll? 司機： About four dollars. 乘客： That’s fine. I need to be there by five if possible. 司機： We should make it. 乘客： Great. Could you drop me by the side entrance? That’s where reception is.

付款

• “How much is it?”
• “Can I pay by card?”
• “Is the tip included?”
• “Could I have a receipt, please?”
• “Could you add the tip to the card?”
• “I think the app has already charged me. Could you check?”

如果計程車表原本應該啟動但沒有啟動，請早點問：“Will you be using the meter?” 當地的計程車規則各不相同，因此請在抵達目的地前先了解正常的系統。

如果您需要結束乘車

• “You can stop here, please.”
• “This corner is fine.”
• “Please let me out somewhere safe.”
• “I’ve changed my plans. Could you take me back to the station?”

使用地圖練習

選擇地圖上的酒店。說明其名稱、街道、附近的地標、偏好的入口和所需的到達時間。然後練習詢問交通和收費。這比記憶長的計程車腳本更有用。
