שיחות קלות יכולות להפוך רכבת מאוחרת או סיור משותף לאחד החלקים הטובים ביותר של הטיול. הן גם נראות קשות יותר משיחת שירות, מכיוון שאין תסריט.

הפתרון אינו לזכור עשרים שאלות חכמות. השתמש בתצפית אחת, שאלה פתוחה אחת והמשך אחד.

פתחו עם המצב המשותף

• “It’s busier than I expected today.”
• “The view from here is amazing, isn’t it?”
• “Have you been on this tour before?”
• “Do you know if this train is usually on time?”
• “That looks good—what did you order?”

שאלות קלות למטיילים

• “How long are you here for?”
• “What has been your favourite place so far?”

הימנעו מלהפוך את השיחה לריאיון. אחרי תשובה, שתפו קצת על עצמכם: “I’ve heard the night market is great. I’m hoping to go tomorrow.”
